Our annual Gay Pride event is a vibrant celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, featuring a colorful parade, an electrifying festival, a captivating live show, and an empowering youth pride event. Sponsorship funds contribute directly to the success of our parade and festival, ensuring that they remain inclusive, accessible, and memorable for all attendees. 2023 was our biggest Heartland Pride ever: over 30,000 parade and 8,000 festival attendees!

- Scholarship Program: Heartland Pride is committed to empowering LGBTQ+ youth through education. Your sponsorship helps fund scholarships that support deserving students in pursuing their academic goals and dreams.
- Grant Program for Local LGBT+ Related Groups: We believe in uplifting local organizations that advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and support the community. Your sponsorship helps us provide grants to these groups, enabling them to continue their invaluable work.
- Communication and Promotion: Our sponsorship program also aids in maintaining and promoting communication through email and social media platforms for our local LGBT+ partner groups. By staying connected year-round, we ensure that our community is informed about upcoming events, initiatives, and resources.
HOW THIS YEAR’S PARADE & FESTIVAL WILL BE PROMOTED
- Local Radio: We partner with local radio stations Sweet 98, La Nueva, and Power 106-9 to broadcast announcements and updates about the event, reaching diverse audiences across the region.
- Social Media: Our active presence on social media platforms ensures widespread visibility for our events. Your sponsorship will be highlighted across our social media channels, reaching over 14K followers and supporters.
- In-Person Events: We host multiple in-person events leading up to the Pride celebration.
- Regional Pride Events: We collaborate with other Pride events in the region to cross-promote and amplify our festival to bring more people to Omaha.
- Email List: Our dedicated email list keeps our community informed about upcoming events, initiatives, and resources. Top sponsors will be featured in our email communications.
