Nebraska Black Pride is hosting their very first full weekend celebration centering LGBTQ+ Black joy, love, and community — and Heartland Pride is proud to support this historic event.

Weekend Highlights:

• Friday, August 29 – “Noah’s Arc” screening @ Benson Theatre — an iconic celebration of Black queer storytelling.
• Saturday, August 30 – Drag Happy Hour hosted by Adam Hankins & Babygírl T Uchawi — fierce performances and unforgettable vibes.
• Sunday, August 31 – Family Reunion BBQ @ Benson Park — all ages and chosen family welcome! Enjoy food trucks, DJ Riz, yard games, Spades and UNO tournaments, and free food tickets for the first 50 guests.
