16th Street & Capitol Avenue
The parade stages and steps off at 9:30 AM at 16th Street and Capitol Avenue in downtown Omaha.
East on Capitol Avenue
From 16th Street, the parade heads east on Capitol Avenue, passing North 15th Street and crossing North 14th and North 13th Streets.
Left onto 12th Street
At 12th Street the parade turns left and continues north along 12th Street, passing Cass Street.
Dispersal at Mike Fahey Street
The route ends and disperses near Mike Fahey Street. Public parking is available nearby toward 10th Street.

The 2026 theme
Pride is a protest.
And a celebration.
Pride began in the street, with people marching to be seen, together and unafraid. More than fifty years on, the parade still carries that history forward. We march for visibility, for one another, and for the simple, radical joy of showing up exactly as we are. Everyone is welcome to walk beside us.
Spectators
Free to watch. Bring the whole family. Families are welcome along the entire route.

Nonprofits, businesses, performers, community groups, and political candidates make up this year’s parade.

Each group is responsible for its own materials and cleanup.
Safety & guidelines
Keep everyone safe.
No strobe lights along the route or during staging.
No alcohol or illegal substances during staging or along the route.
Hand items directly to attendees or distribute them gently. Never throw items into crowds.
Supervised animals are welcome if they are comfortable in large crowds.
Vehicle operators must carry a valid license and insurance.
Follow all staff, volunteer, and law enforcement directions.
